Fence Mesh Banners – 130 gsm
Air-permeable perforated mesh designed to reduce wind loading compared with solid fabric; suitable for appropriately installed fencing, outdoor events and temporary barriers.

How to Calculate Your Custom Banner Area
Measure the required finished width and height in metres. Multiply the two dimensions to calculate square metres, then round up to the next available 1m² option.
- 1.0m × 1.0m = 1.0m²: select Up to 1.0m²
- 2.0m × 1.5m = 3.0m²: select Up to 3.0m²
- 2.5m × 1.7m = 4.25m²: select Up to 5.0m²
- 4.0m × 2.0m = 8.0m²: select Up to 8.0m², subject to the dimension restriction below
Production dimension restriction: for the standard options shown here, at least one side must be under 1.5 metres. If both the width and height are 1.5m or greater, contact Media Wall Backdrop for confirmation of a suitable large-format construction before ordering, regardless of total area.
Artwork and Ordering Your Custom Fabric Banner
- Select your material: 110 gsm standard fabric, 250 gsm thick fabric or 130 gsm fence mesh.
- Measure your banner: work out the desired finished width and height and calculate the printed area.
- Choose your size allowance: select the smallest “Up to” square-metre option that includes the required area.
- Prepare print artwork: supply a print-ready PDF, AI, EPS or SVG; high-resolution raster artwork may also be suitable following review.
- Provide exact dimensions and installation details: share final measurements and any eyelet, finishing or mounting requirements before production.
- Confirm artwork and production specifications: ensure print dimensions, safe areas and fixing positions are approved before your banner is produced.
Artwork reminder: pricing based on area does not automatically communicate your exact finished dimensions. Please supply width and height with your artwork. An artwork file upload or order note field must be configured separately in Shopify if it is to appear at checkout.
Eyelets, Reinforced Edges and Installation
For standard and 250 gsm thick fabric, the reference construction includes double-banded edges and perimeter eyelets typically spaced every 50 cm. The mesh option uses edge webbing and eyelets, with spacing to be confirmed for the intended fixing method.
Use fixings suited to the banner size, mounting structure and site conditions. Fence mesh allows some airflow but is not windproof. Avoid using solid fabric banners in exposed, high-wind positions.
All listed options are for custom printed banner material only; frames, fences, poles, cables and other mounting hardware are not included unless expressly agreed.

What is the difference between the three banner materials?
Standard 110 gsm polyknit is a lightweight, economical option; thick 250 gsm fabric provides a heavier solid fabric display; and 130 gsm perforated mesh allows airflow for suitable outdoor fence advertising.
Are the thick fabric banners 250 gsm?
Yes. Our thick fabric banner option is specified as 250 gsm.
Does “Up to 4.0m²” mean a banner that is 4 metres wide?
No. It is a printed-area limit. Width × height must not exceed 4.0m², and separate production dimension restrictions still apply.
Can I order a banner with unusual width and height?
Yes, custom proportions are possible within the selected square-metre allowance and production constraints. Supply your exact finished dimensions before production. If both sides are 1.5m or greater, confirm a suitable construction before ordering.
Are these banners double-sided?
The listed standard, thick and mesh options use single-sided printing. Ask for a quote if you require a different printing construction.
Which fabric banner is best for a windy fence?
Breathable 130 gsm fence mesh is generally more appropriate than solid fabric because the perforations reduce wind pressure. The installation and site wind loading still require assessment.
Are eyelets and reinforced edges supplied?
The reference standard and thick fabric constructions include double-banded edges with eyelets about every 50 cm. Mesh uses reinforced edge webbing and eyelets; exact fixing details should be confirmed before production.
Do I need to provide exact artwork dimensions?
Yes. The Shopify variant identifies the maximum area only, so your finished banner width and height must be provided with the print artwork.
Does the product include mounting hardware?
No. The listing covers a custom printed fabric or mesh banner, not a fence, display frame, mounting pole or other fixing hardware.
